How Beachbody Coaching Got Started and What It Really Is

Beachbody History:

Beachbody is the creator of America’s most popular in-home fitness and weight-loss products:

  1. High-quality workout programs such as P90X, T25, Body Beast, and the 21 Day Fix, all of which can be done from home or on the go using a phone, computer, or T.V.!
  2. Exercise gear, and
  3. One of the highest-quality supplement lines on the market today with Shakeology and the Beachbody Performance line (all of which are 100% all-natural).

With Fitness, Nutrition, and Support, Beachbody has made fitness accessible, affordable, and enjoyable for everyone.  It’s simple to lose weight and stay fit for life!

Fact is, thousands of Success Stories prove that the Beachbody System works in an excellent fashion.

The Coaching Opportunity:

Beachbody launched in California in 1998, selling their fitness programs exclusively via TV. infomercials.  Their programs were extremely successful, as their customers used their programs to lose weight and get in the best shape of their lives, working out and eating healthy – finally having the tools to do it all from their homes.  In 2007, Beachbody founders Carl Daikeler and Jon Congdon invited these fans to help them inspire and encourage the newbies, and the Coach business opportunity was born.

“Team Beachbody” is what the Coach Business opportunity is called, and includes some 500,000 Coaches in the United States and Canada (and they’re launching the U.K. market October 2017!).  These Coaches use and love the Beachbody system because it works well for their busy lifestyle, so having a job where they can pay it forward and encourage others AND work the hours and business capacity they choose is an absolutely lovely opportunity!

A successful Beachbody Coach must have two things:

  1. A passion and enjoy exercise and healthy eating, and
  2. Enjoy people and value relationships.

If you love fitness and think encouraging others to get and stay fit sounds fun, you’ll be a great Beachbody Coach.  When I looked into Coaching 8 years ago, it just made so much sense because I valued those things as well.

Their are other things a successful Coach needs to have, like

  • A willingness to grow personally and professionally.
  • A few good business skills.  You’ll learn those in your Coach training, and
  • A strong “why” or reason to have a business.  It must be purposeful.

How Coaches earn money:

Simple: Beachbody pays the retail profits to their active Coaches based on the people they choose to Coach.  Coaches get paid weekly commissions when their people buy their Beachbody products and online fitness memberships through that Coach’s personal website.  Their customers use any Beachbody program they choose, and the Coach encourages them and places them into a private online accountability group so they don’t feel alone on their fitness journey.

If a Coach decides to become a leader Coach, they recruit and train new Coaches and can earn bonuses on their organization’s growth.  I have chosen this model, and it’s incredibly rewarding!

Bottom line is: Coaches succeed by helping others succeed.

It’s a fantastic product + the personal care and support of a real person.  There aren’t many opportunities to have that perfect pairing in today’s world!

It’s truly valuable to so many people looking for a little help with their fitness and for the Coaches as a rewarding revenue stream and home based business.

Do you have to be good at sales to succeed?

This is the most common assumption, that one has to be salsey to succeed.

Not at all.  Truth is, almost everybody who is overweight and unhealthy wants to get fit and healthy, they just haven’t found what works well for them yet.  Beachbody’s products can get them there, as the thousands of real-life Success Stories show.  It’s not about selling something to someone who doesn’t want it, but about helping people get the information they need AND the opportunity to say “yes!” if Beachbody is the right fit for them…and then supporting them along their fitness journey!

It is important that you get all of the facts before deciding to launch any business.

Beachbody Coaching is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme, an icky salesy business, or something that you start and then quit after a month because it didn’t meet your expectations.  There are things you’ll need to know, learn, and do to be successful, and I train all of our new Beachbody Coaches on the same simple system for success that I use myself.

This is a very real opportunity for you to do what you love (fitness) and get paid to serve others as they get fit.  You’re able to use the proven system and tools Team Beachbody provides their Coaches, and have a business mentor (Leader Coach) to help you get started and support you as your business grows.

Your business grows if you are able to serve your customers very well, so

Relationships – NOT sales – are the most important thing to a successful Beachbody Coach.
