Oh my goodness, the title is really long – but so true!
This is me, in early 2015, just a few months after giving birth to my 3rd baby: my first ever National Physique Committee (NPC) competition and 4th place win in Open Bikini ❤ 😲
With a new baby, I was committed to nursing and staying healthy, so I was not doing any of the shenanigans that often go along with these shows…like intentional dehydration, pre-show Benadryl shots, carb depletion, double workouts, and artificial flavored/sweetened/colored protein shakes. ICK 😬!
I used my Beachbody tools from home, and really just enjoyed the training process, did the best I could (without compromise!) and walked out with a well-fed baby 🤱 and a trophy 🏆.
This story shows that if I can do this, anyone can ❤
